Inspired by the fluid dynamics of rippling water, this ceramic form combines minimalist aesthetics with a sophisticated thrown-form. While a delicately textured black base slip is applied to the underside of the piece, the upper surface features a subtly rippled ridged design that draws the eye inward. Concentric rings of Kuan glaze layer atop the glossy, reflective rippled black surface, enhancing the interplay of light and reflection with a central volume of inked Kuan glaze.
